Community Service: Junko

Consider for a moment the educational environment of countries like Vietnam and Myanmar. Because Vietnam is a developing economy, there are growing gaps in society and an increasing number of children cannot go to school. In Myanmar, because of political oppression, there are a large number of children with no chance of discovering cultures beyond their borders. The Junko foundation focuses on these two countries, conducting activities that support education and cultural exchange. It is our hope that every child can receive a proper education.

To support our endeavors, we personally buy products (such as accessories) in Myanmar and Vietnam and then resell them in Japan. The designs of our products are charming and you are likely to see an increasing number of people using them. Everything is hand-made and you can be sure that the passion and care of the producers goes into it.

Feel our products for yourself—maybe you can sense the warmth of the people who made them. Your thoughtfulness provides a future for these children. For more about our activities, please check out our website, where we also sell products!
